Remember these two cuties? I’ll give you a little refresher. Back in 2019 Kirsten and Emmanuel took part in my backyard mini sessions and they loved the photos we took together so much that when Emmanuel asked Kirsten to marry him, she messaged me the very same week for engagement photos. I seriously was over the moon ecstatic that I was even thought of, let alone the very next few days after the proposal. I am so lucky to have met such wonderful human beings through this job, and Kirsten & Emmanuel are no exception. They are so sweet and so fun, and so obviously in love and it melts my little heart to have them be themselves with one another in front of my camera. We hit up Normanskill Farm for the first half of their session; they walk their adorable pup here frequently, they told me, as they live right nearby. I thought it would make the perfect backdrop for the start of their engagement session in the fall with all the beautiful foliage. For the second half of their session, K&E took me to The Speakeasy downtown, where I have never been and where I was in awe of how dang cool it was. Emmanuel runs the place (even cooler, right?!) and had the hookup to get us in for a private session. I had the two of them do a lot of dancing together (sorry guys!), but it was good practice for their big day coming up in the fall of 2021. I am so happy with the results of their session and I know they are, too. Thank you again, Kirsten & Emmanuel! It is always a pleasure to work with the two of you and I hope to do it again soon! Best of luck at the wedding in Oregon in September, and an early congratulations are in order. XOXO.
