We went to DC last weekend to visit my sister and future brother-in-law, and while I didn’t take enough photos, I wanted to share some of the ones I did take. First stop was the Botanical Gardens which was bonkers-busy and crawling with way too many people, but it was so lovely and we enjoyed walking around looking at all the beautiful florals and greenery.
Next stop was the American Indian Museum, which was super cool for many reasons. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, but I’m glad we at least explored around a little bit.
And of course we went to the National Mall to scope out the cherry blossoms. The weather was crap (kind of cold, gray and misting rain), but the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and so stunning to see in their prime. Aside from the MASSES of humans also viewing the cherry blossoms, it was totally worth the trek and navigating the ridiculous crowds.
