Winter Wonderland Wedding in the Adirondacks

Hannah and Nicholas’s BEAUTIFUL winter wedding at the Lodge on Echo Lake was my first of 2023, and holy cow! Celebrating this lovely couple was THE way to start the year out, let me tell you. From my first meeting with Hannah and her dad at a little coffee shop in downtown Albany, to our shared love of the Buffalo Bills, to discovering both Hannah & Nicholas’s killer tattoos, I knew these two were the perfect fit for not just me as their wedding photographer, but for each other. I mean, would you just LOOK at the way they look at each other in these images?! The happiness and joy is just BEAMING off of my dang computer screen!

Hannah and Nick planned the most wonderful winter wedding at this stunning venue in the Adirondack Mountains, and I knew I had to be part of it. When the couple told me they wanted winter and they WANTED snow for their wedding, I was all over it. And lo and behold – it SNOWED on their wedding day DURING portrait time. It could not have been any more perfect for these two. The newlyweds shared in their marital bliss with their closest family and friends, and one very special little guest, their daughter. Lillian was born just a few short months before their wedding and to say that these two new parents love this little one is putting it mildly. They wanted her to be an important part of their day together as a family of three. I know you all know by now that I looove kids, so whenever I get the chance to see them at weddings is like the equivalent of being a kid in a candy store for me. It was so special to witness Hannah & Nick’s love for their little girl. What I found to be especially special was during the father-daughter dance, while Hannah danced with her beloved father (and things got emotional, people – there were NO dry eyes to be found at the Lodge), Nick danced with his Lilly. I obviously cried my eyes out.

This whole day was just so full of love, and I could not have been more honored to have been included in and captured it all. Cheers to Hannah & Nick and a lifetime of happiness! Love yas!
