I have been so, so terrible at blogging lately, and I am going to make up for it now by showing you some ADORABLE images below. But first! Happy Easter.
During this super weird and scary time in the world right now, and celebrating a holiday in self-isolation or self-quarantine is not exactly what we all had in mind for this year. However, we should (and are forced to) make the best of it. Finding the good in things is important to our survival. We cannot merely survive on the basics alone. Hope springs eternal, and thank God it does because how else would we get through this thing?
Spring is one of my favorite seasons of the year (tied for first with autumn!) because it brings about so many new possibilities. With spring comes budding trees and plants, brand new baby animals, and the smell of fresh air is, well, a breath of fresh air. Not only do I love to photograph in spring (I mean, helloooo beautiful blossoms!), but I actually enjoy cleaning for once. It’s like we become these entirely new people emerging from the dark and dismissal cave that was our miserably frigid & damp winter.
I’m not a religious person anymore, but I can still appreciate the symbolism that spring, Passover and Easter bring along with them. The word “rebirth” comes to mind. Beautiful spring flowers instantly cheer me up, and the warmer weather and sunnier days feed a part of my soul. Not to mention all the cute bunnies and other baby animals that make us giddy.
And on that note, here are some photos from this morning. I’d say this little fur baby enjoyed the attention and loved the spotlight. After all, it is her day.
