When I extended an offer for a free family session in a Facebook group in mid-January, LaTisha reached out to me expressing an interest in getting family portraits taken. I was thrilled to work with this sweet family. On the day of their session, it was very chilly and the kids were bundled up in winter coats, hats and gloves. But nothing stopped these guys from having a fun time. We met at the Empire State Plaza on a fairly cloudy and gloomy day. Although only half the family was able to make it to their session, LaTisha and three of her little ones were still excited. The littlest of the bunch kept wanting to grab my camera and see the images – which actually made for some really cute pictures. I loved how engaged the kiddos were when I showed them the back of my camera; they were asking all sorts of questions like, “What does this button do?” (thankfully no buttons were pressed! Haha!) and a whole lot of “Can I see that photo of me?” I loved getting these shots of LaTisha with three of kids lovin’ up on her. Who doesn’t love some good mommy and me images? Thank you to LaTisha and family for coming out and enduring the seemingly unbearable cold and I hope to have the opportunity to photograph the entire family someday soon!
