Winter Elopement in Downtown Troy NY

When Nicole and Jason told their families they wanted to get married in the dead of winter in downtown Troy, New York, I can only imagine what they all said and thought. But when Nicole and Jason told me they didn’t have a professional photographer for their December wedding, and that I was looking for a couple to model for me in the wintertime in downtown Troy, it was meant to be. While I unfortunately could not be there to photograph their actual wedding, we got together 2 months later in February to recreate the magic of their special day using everything they had originally included (from Nicole’s dress, to Jason’s suit & tie, to their wedding invitation, their rings–even their cat). It felt really special to be able to document this important time in their lives together, as they embarked on a new journey in their relationship.
