There is something so incredibly magical about ditching the big production for a “just us” celebration with high-fashion flair. I am so excited to share this downtown Albany styled elopement—a project I personally created, designed, planned, and hosted alongside fellow photographer Sarah Busso Photography to showcase just how stunning a city wedding can be. We spent the afternoon wandering through the Empire State Plaza, where the massive marble columns and sleek architecture felt like our own private playground. I was thrilled to have a handful of talented photographers tag along for the ride, making the creative energy behind the lens truly infectious!
I have to give the biggest shoutout to our incredible models, Alex and Jeremy, who were absolute troopers in the biting wind and cold. Despite the chill, they didn’t miss a beat, radiating warmth and style that made every frame look effortless. Between the wind catching Alex’s veil and the way they absolutely rocked every pose against the New York State Capitol, it was a beautiful reminder that a bold vision—and a couple with amazing chemistry—is all you need for an unforgettable time. If you’ve been dreaming of an editorial-inspired day that is equal parts whimsical and sophisticated, let these images be your sign to go for it.
